It's One of a Kind
Now there's a machine available in the U.S. designed specifically for Geotechnial Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) applications. It's the Model 6625CPT machine from Geoprobe Systems®. And it's the only machine available in the industry that's completely operable using a wireless remote.
The first time I used a Geoprobe® machine was in 1988 on a soil gas investigation somewhere in Iowa. My first field project was to track volatile organic contaminant (VOC) plumes in a suburban area and try to locate the potential sources. The area reminded me a little bit of the Twilight Zone but it wasn’t! New Dual Tube Sampling System for Trouble-Free Sampling
THe DT325 Dual Tube Soil Sampling System, designed for use with 3.25 in. rods, uses a unique combination of the cutting shoe, sheath, and liner retainer to allow efficient recovery of samples in formations ranging from plastic clays to saturated sands.
