Self-anchoring, multi-purpose push platform provides a unique combo for the Geotechical Industry

Now there’s a machine available in the U.S. designed specifically for Geotechnical CPT Applications … the Model 6625CPT from Geoprobe Systems®. It’s the only machine available in the industry that is completely operable using remote controls.

This self-anchoring track machine with a hydraulically-activated CPT chuck is easily maneuverable onsite, is fully operable using a wireless remote transmitter (manual control backup), and has 20 tons of push capability even though the entire machine weighs less than 5 tons.  The machine is capable of performing Geoprobe® cordless CPT and Seismic CPT functions.  And, by side shifting the Geoprobe® GH62 Hammer over the probe foot, the machine easily converts to environmental logging and sampling tasks.  The machine functions well using Direct Image® tooling, such as Electrical Conductivity and MIP tooling.

The 6625CPT Machine presents a total package for companies providing geotechnical testing services. The track-mounted machine's small footprint (approximately 53 sq. ft. [5 sq. m]) allows for easy mobilization, but its light weight... almost 5 tons ... doesn't diminish the machine's 20-ton push capabilities.
