These are all design elements in the newest Geoprobe® Direct Push Machine ... the Model 7730DT. Together with a long list of popular features, this higher capacity machine offers still more advantages to our customers which allows them more flexibility in all types of field conditions.
The heart of the machine is the powerful GH62 hammer which Geoprobe Systems® designed specifically for direct push applications. A dependable 75 hp Kubtoa 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine powers all of the hydraulics used on the machine.
Darin Huelsman, Project Engineer, says this machine is one more reason why Geoprobe® customers do well in the environmental business. The 7730DT was designed from the beginning to accomplish specific tasks as a direct push machine. “We knew how we wanted the 7730DT to perform before its tracks ever hit the ground,” Darin said. “Our machines, especially this one, are an accumulation of listening to what customers want and adding what we know to make the whole package come together and be profitable for them.”
And this is a big package! The undercarriage is 18 in. wider than the Model 6620DT which adds stability in the field for deep subsurface work and augering. It’s a great foundation to support all the work you can do with the two-speed augerhead, an overhead mast and hydraulic winch, and two-speed probe cylinder ... all of which are standard features of the 7730DT.
“After you see this machine perform in the field,” Darin added, “you’ll wonder how you worked without it! Come to Kansas and spend time at the controls. This is truly a machine you need to run to appreciate.” |
