Tools manually driven into the subsurface are retrieved with a Geoprobe® Probe Rod Jack. With all driving accessories (loop pull cap, slide hammer, guide rod, and slide hammer anvil) removed from the tool string, place the jack over the top probe rod and slide it down to the ground surface. Insert the jack handle into the rectangular housing on the jack. Actuate the handle up-and-down to pull the rods out of the ground.

Probe rod jacks are assembled for use with either 1.0- or 1.25-inch probe rods. A kit is available to adapt your 1.0 inch rod jack to 1.25 in rods if necessary.
